Escort
The rental's here. Her name is “Britney.”Sure it is. Whatever. Kevin's hoping
He can dip his quill, but “escort” is
A slippery term. One never knows
If one so labeled plans to wink and play
Along (for extra cash; she'd make that
Clear), or if she'll adhere to the law,
And maybe put her arm around him,
Smile, converse pleasantly, then
Thank him for his check and go,
And leave him, Kevin, glumly grumbling,
Packing for the trip back home to two
Small children and a wife whose income
Doesn't come from him, and doesn't
Dress like her.
