In Time, I Will find it, and I Will Silence it
There's dirty snow on either side of the drive,A black puddle in its middle. It's warmed up
Enough for the snow to start melting, but not
Very quickly. The sun is unseen. I stare out
And shudder, absorbing the cold, as a tinny-
Voiced cheerleader chants in my mind. “Cheer
Up, you old grump. The world is fine. The only
Thing dismal is you.”
