Time by Ann Wood

The time over the last twenty-two years seems to be flying and passing away very quickly.
Twenty-two years ago, I left my home country Bulgaria.
I lived in Libya for a couple of years and then came to live in the UK.
I went through many obstacles.
I married work from morning till late at night at the hotel where my journey began.
I finished my higher education, worked many jobs, moved to the big and noisy city of the capital of England, London.
I struggled a lot while completing my education and found a good job and set up my home.
Time was never enough for the goals I had.
Now I am proud of myself and the successes I have achieved.
The journey was terribly difficult, but the reaping successes brought me the comfort, joy, and pride of becoming a worthy UK citizen.
