Moronocracy

They pool, in their malignant glory,
Just outside the capitol. They carry
Guns and signs in praise of their
Distasteful patron, known to some
As Goon-in-Chief. In fascist fashion,
Filled with menace, they warn darkly
Of the dangers of oppressive government
Because they're sick of staying home,
As smarter people say they should.
They'd rather die, they say, and, anyway,
They're hurt by cracks those smarter
People make. They may have slept
Too much in school. They may be fairly
Stupid, but they're certain that they know
What's right, and they'll break heads,
They'll brandish weapons; hell, they
And their Goon-in-Chief will fashion
This land into Haiti, just to spite
Their betters, who keep telling
Them they're dumb.
