I saw a picture of Haley today. It could have been
Her.It probably wasn't, but I began wishing again
That she'd stayed.A beautiful woman with
Whirlpool eyes which pulled me down into them,
Held me and drowned me, she loved someone else,
But liked visiting me, and I'd dream as I floundered
That someday she'd realize that she should have
Loved me, and not gone with him, and not
Let me return to the surface, now lonely, to stare
At a face which I took to be hers, though
I'm starting to think it was not.
