Thank You Note to a Right-Wing Stooge
I've already dropped my lazy ass ontoBrocaded chairs in places you won't
Ever go, and, in due time, that's all
I'll do. I own a lot of capital,
And, through it, I feast off of you.
You're too damned dumb to make
Me share it, too besotted by the myth
That your hard work, someday, will
Pay, and self-reliance brings rewards
Beyond those gained collectively.
You go!, I say. Preserve your freedom
From the socialists, and from
The burdens wealth is said to bring.
Such burdens haven't bothered me.
I suck your blood. You pay my way,
And do so without any urging.
Stupid as a bag of rocks, you are,
And that's been good for me.
