Haiku for Holocaust Day

Flame flickers to smoke,
A ghost curls around my head,
Will I sleep tonight?

Christopher, I’ve been to Majdanic, a death camp, many times when I lived in Poland. Your poem touches me with the essence of how I felt when visiting there. Most days, when there, I was alone. The camp gets few visitors. There are spirits there both good and evil. Fine work.
