A Sunny Winter Day
The sunshine blinds, the snow aglow.Who would know that heat is absent?
Ten below, a woman says. She searches,
Finds no reason to raise hopes for
Warmer days ahead. I cannot make out
Images, so take her forecast, sight unseen,
And sigh. I feel a nap's in order. Let
These useless eyes be rested. I leave up
The blinds.
