You've been bombarded with propaganda telling you that the wrong person is the bad guy.
Anyone, actually, who defies Uncle Sam:
The troops come. The jets fly. The sanctions
Are levied, and then there's no air. There's no
Water or food. You must do as he says, or he'll
Try to destroy you. He often succeeds, but not
Here while I breathe. Here, my citizens eat,
Though it's true that they suffer. My troops
Guard our border against all the thousands
In Uncle Sam's war machine, waiting to strike,
And my nuclear weapons stand ready. They'll
Answer, if he (as he's so often proven before)
Proves he's stupid. It's sad. All he really
Should do is endorse the peace treaty, and call
Off the war that, in fact, has been over for
Sixty-some years, and then take home his
Troops. If he did, I'd be happy to stop spending
Money on nuclear arms. My people are
Hungry. Why not let them eat? Why not
Let us trade with the rest of the world?
Because we are communist, and we refuse
To submit to that ass, Uncle Sam.

Yes, I'm aware of what happens to communists,Anyone, actually, who defies Uncle Sam:
