Held to the Same Standards...

Communism's always failed, we're told,
And one could say it has, in some ways.
Communist regimes become oppressive
And unequal, led by kleptocrats who
Prosper while all others do not gain. Let
Us, then, agree that communism hasn't
Yet worked out. By the standards we've
Applied, in fairness, we also should
Note that capitalism hasn't gotten
Closer to success.
