A Family Vacation
We've gotten home and separated. This isFor the best, I think. We could not act as
One on our adventure, could not actually
Decide was our adventure was, so each
Of us was out of sorts. What would we
Eat? Where would we eat? When would
We eat? What should we see, and who
Would go with whom, and which would be
The route we ought to take? Not once did
We agree, and, thus, what might have been
A welcome respite from domestic chores,
In fact, led us to long for them. We're
Happier back in our homes and once more
Separate.
