Lightly Sauteed Feelings

Many people eat their feelings raw,
believing, of course,
that if you eat your feelings,
you should down them quickly
and without fuss.

But the perfect recipe for feelings
is to saute them lightly,
in butter,
mixed together with garlic and onions,
cooking them down.

Take the time to soften them
and coat them in salt and butter
to create a rich meal,
instead of just mindlessly chewing
as if only for nutrition and not pleasure.

Relish the experience,
and savor every bite
as you consume your feelings,
before digesting them
so that you can begin again.
