Flies and Conservatives

You're not a conservative, little fly,
So I'm willing to say that you have
Some worth. Your maggots clean up
What is foul and putrid, things which
Are dead, like conservative thought,
And more likeable creatures dine on
You. Still, being filthy and ugly
And noisy, like many conservatives,
I am convinced that I'd be better
Off without you.
