Felisha
I begged her to stay, but she wouldn't.I threatened to kill her. She laughed.
“You should just kill yourself.” I saw
Her last weekend outside of a restaurant.
Some new guy was with her, fawning
And laboring to keep her happy. I relived
Our past and felt no pangs of sorrow. Instead,
What I felt was substantial relief. As I turned
To go home, I thought back and concluded
I haven't missed her since she's gone.
