The Return of the Goons

Was it like this in the '30s, just before
Things went to hell? Goons are on
The march again. They mass by thousands,
Millions, in the streets of Washington and
Delhi, Istanbul and Sao Paolo, howling
Incoherent rage at...something. They can't
Quite say what. They hound and beat
And murder scapegoats, other races,
Women, gays, while worshipping
Their grifting leaders, who have told
Them they will bring back days
Which never were.
