A Leader Only Leads Those Who are Willing to Follow

The world is full of shits. We all know that.
The spotlight follows the best known of them,
The autocrats, murderers, bigots and scoundrels.
We watch in disgust, we few who aren't shits,
And we curse them. We think that, if they'd
Go away, the world would improve. We'd be
Raised from the mire, dignified, decent to
Others at last..., but we wouldn't. The ones
In the spotlights have gotten to be where
They are because, hidden in darkness,
It turns out, are millions of like-minded shits.
