REOCCURRING DREAM

slept within a dream,
Being woken by a scream.
I dreamt my head fell off.

When I woke,
Tell you what I saw.
There it was laying,
On the floor.

Got out of bed,
Incased I snored.
Decided to shut it,
In a drawer.

Then I woke up,
Jumped out of bed.
To open the draw,
To find my head.
Was there no more.

Looked into the mirror,
This is what I saw.
There was my head,
Sitting on my legs.

I screamed within the dream,
Because of what I saw.
My head screaming back,
While laying on the floor.

Waking up where my day begun,
Heard the doctor say.
"He could be in this coma,
For weeks or years to come ".

That's when I woke,
Feeling refreshed.
As never before,
Glancing down.
As I started to rise,
From my hospital bed.
That's where I found,
My glasses on the floor.
Trouble is they were,
Sitting on my head.

I agree, your work is always wonderful! I have many reoccurring dreams, so this is close to home for me.
