Shrink to Fit
The human mind, being paltry and wretched,
Can't fathom the universe that it sees.
Infinity boggles, so time must begin,
And must end, and the ways in which
Everything moves, from galaxies down
To the woman who's shopping, must
Hew to some rules, some notion of order.
By such means, existence appears to have
Shrunken, becoming a model the poor mind
Can fathom, though rules are broken so often
As followed, and ironclad orders are changed.
