Maybe I'm just being thick, but I wonder,
When did this “rules-based order” begin?
Was it when those first ships ferried slaves
To our country?  Was it when armies
Of white men swept over Asia and Africa,
Or was it when those who'd been here before
Us, the natives, were slaughtered?  Had   
Anybody made rules back then?  Was there
Some sort of order, or have these two
Concepts been stirred up, like whitewash,
To cover the bloodshed and falsely enoble
The status quo?
