People rise together
When you wonder and think to much
about the things you reach but can not touch
about the things you want and the things you can't
then hope finds a window, to slip in
to gently embrace my soul and my sin
So I pass it over to people I value
to him, to her, to everyone, to you
People I care about, people I love
so I lean my head back, to look up above
Asks faith how long we shall hold on
how long we have to be strong
but I know when people rise
they forgett about judging and instead they give advise
People rise together to believe in tomorrow
to take the day and make it forever
If people believe in eachother
like a daughter believes in a mother
we can undertstand the things we choose
look forward to new beautiful views
the roads we walk on, the roads we avoid
forgett about the bad things that are destroyed
then life between us keeps moving on
our compassion and devotion grows strong
To believe and dream together
visualising a paradise weather
to cherish and hold on to the love we have inside
show emotions open, do not hide
we need to let go of ourselves just a little bit
to let people in,maybe we could fit
to search to find what lays deep within
embrace the friendship we have to invest in
Then people could rise together to believe in tomorrow
to take the day to make it forever
