A Sunny Day by Ann Wood

Today is a sunny February day.
Outside, the birds can be heard singing, their love song.
Snowdrops, crocuses and other harbingers of spring have blossomed in the gardens.
Their aroma wafts through the air.
Soon February will be gone, and with it winter.
But let's not forget that Grandma Marta can surprise us with cold weather and even snow.
But still, the end of winter is in sight, and spring is knocking on our doors.
Today is a beautiful and sunny winter day, and the earth is waking up from its long winter sleep.

It is a beautiful sunny day here, too, Ann. Spring has arrived early, though, as you write, she may be a bit premature!

Grandma Marta your name for winter in your part of the world?
