Grandma Marta, in a hurry, tied martenichki, for children and adults, for happiness and prosperity.
Marches are a symbol of health and love, they are always white and red.
They are brother and sister called Pijo and Penda, joined by a twisted white and red string made of threads.
Grandma Marta is knocking on the door again to give us martenichki, and with her comes Spring.
