POETIC LICENSE
Poetry isn't all doom and gloom,It doesn't have to be my friend.
When all is said and done,
I write mainly just for fun.
Ok there are some of those,
If you read between the lines;
Of some of my poetry and prose.
Someone once said for poetry,
I have the talent and the nose.
Personally I'm not too sure of that,
I'm just a human animal.
who writes what he feels he likes,
Who's flights of fancy often take flight.
So lately it's as though I've lost the plot,
Writing how I feel I seem to do a lot.
When the jocularity takes over me,
My thoughts and mind are one.
I must confess that's when I feel,
I can return to what I love the best.
Writing as I feel I should,
When my mind is on the run,
As well as just for fun.
