CRASH LANDING

When the nuclear storm came,
It was time for man to give up
his world. As this ungodly storm
Unfurled, Many changes did occur.
Instead of wiping out all living things
Mutating many over time
The world began to stir
The universe continued to spin

No one noticed the spacecraft fall.
Taking it as a asteroid far to small,
That had broken through the atmosphere.
Then landed in the hemisphere,
Close to the valley of the meld.

No no-one noticed the angle was not to deep,
As it glided then crashed on this world.
No, No-one noticed as he licked his imaginary
wounds, Before he went to sleep.

He was lucky his life pod found this world
Tired from his ordeal, All he craved for
was to be found on this lowly isle.
To be forced out by his kind he couldn't
believe it to be real.

Tiredness of what happened today,
Got to him in a strange little way.
Curling into a ball he began to weep,
He would have shouted out help.
If he could be understood ,
But all that came out was meep.
