When My House Falls Down

When my house falls down
I shout in agony
Consumed by a desolate frown

House Slippers crown
My feet's aching testimony
When my house falls down

Backache melody drowns
The acidic acrimony
Consumed by a desolate frown

Pepper dusted ashen scrounge
Memories erased by collapsed house cacophony
When my house falls down

Wasted dreams abound
Burned by a crackling symphony
Consumed by a desolate frown

Success disenfranchise blown
Lost life destiny
When my house falls down
Consumed by a desolate frown

I like the repetition in this poem, it cements the core message very well. Blessings, Allen
PS: I pray your house does not fall down.
