Immigrants|Exiles
They left home for another home. They left brick and mortar for a dream.
They left the soil where they had grown
For concrete where they had to beg,
Borrow and steal. And when blue eyes
Look at their brown pupils, they both
Shut lids and look away. Unable
To communicate the hate they feel.
