The High Cost of Health Care

Arm stuck, waiting, being tested
In a hospital: just another day for
Someone who has reached my age.
The weather's bad. I'm missing
Work, so I can't say I'm inconvenienced
To be kept for hours here, poked
And pasted, stripped, and laid out,
To be told a few days hence that
I am hobbled by what I'd been told
I had before.

the older you become, the more help from the health care you need, the strain on always gets tougher I guess
I hope you find good care !

yes and the hard thing is
that
the more older you become, the more you need health care

so the strain on the health system and the old people are heavier
