One's Mind Wanders; His Body Stays Put

I believe that I'd like to be back on Bondi Beach,
As spring has returned there. I wouldn't object
To having tapas in Barcelona, even now. The warm,
Clear waters of Montego Bay, the soggy Olympic
Peninsula jungles, Chinatown in San Francisco,
Or hustling headlong through downtown Chicago,
Anyplace, really, except for here on a third dreary
Day of rain.

There's some weird weather this side of the pond. I hear it is -1C near the Czech border, and we here in the Dordogne of all places actually had snow this morning! I wouldn't risk journeying all that way to Barcelona. It is all so unsettling in truth. Now give me Barbados or Grenada anytime! Blessings, Allen
