It's a poem about depression and how easy it is to "fall out the cliff".

The bottle bottom girl

The bottle bottom meets her again...
Knowing she's swollowed her only friend
she takes to tears,
where's all the years?

Drifting away like it's all the same,
like it doesn't matter, that life's just a game.
The tears she wipes away,
no need to cry on this sunny day.

But emotions are cruel, they won't let her be,
fighting inside her to make her see,
that she's wasting time she's ment to live,
there's still so much for her to give.

Her bottle breaks as she throws it down,
the pieses reflects her face like a clown.
She's had enough,
done playing tuff...

She swollows some pills to ease her pain,
leaving life, no longer insane.
She dies with a smile on her face
she's longed for so long now for deaths embrace...

chasingtheday The PoetBay support member heart!
arr death, the great escape from life, or is it? while we live we do not really know what comes after life. perhaps there will be more life, perhaps there will only be darkness, we will all find the answer soon enough.

bottle bottom - i would throw a hyphen here, bottle-bottom, but it is not essential i suppose.

swollowed - swallowed

ment - meant

pieses - pieces

swollows - swallows

deaths embrace - death's embrace
