Inspired by a childhood song, a wonderful conversation, beautiful girl, Nepenthes's wonderful editing, and dreams.

conversations with the man in the moon

conversations with the man in the moon

tente baba tente itt van már az este

i missed you
last night
i looked to no avail
the sky was gray and cloudy
that's all I see right now
i've forgotten beauty's song
do you hear me when I sing to you?

i've sung that song
since I was small
i wish that bitterness
were not so gray
we are not so
different you know
your head inspires the highest cloud
to dream and watch
i do that too

i'm writing lines
will she sing, too?
will you sing happy songs?
that's all I want

but I can't see you anymore
we're worlds away
she and i
you and i
another
you and i
we are the same
i'll go this far
i mean

i am alone

i missed you last night

Man on the moon... Hmmm. I used to believe he sees into my room at night and if I'd been bad during the day, he was the one responsible for giving me nightmares.... lolol
Thanks for sharing this!
