For My Daughter

I've seen so much in so few years
Slept through smiles,woke in tears
Walked the wire,crawled through fire
Still you follow me

I lost myself inside a maze
Cost us both so many days
Blaming GOD for my own ways
Still you pray for me

I've contemplated life and death
I've stole so much, there's nothing left
At being worst,I've been the best
Yet you beleive in me

I used to think I've seen so much
And then you came to be
My blessing from the Lord above
Who sees in me what I can't see

Wow!! Somebody had to find me some tissues after reading this. It really pulled my heart strings. I haven't even met your daughter but you just gave me a fantastic view of her soul. You have an awesome daughter, I am sure I don't have to tell you this, like you already know..Wish one day I will have the privilege to also speak so greatly of my kids (when I have kids). You are a great father that is the reason why your daughter is so wonderful. Your humbleness and cosy/warm nature shines through your daughter and no greater gift God can provide.

i don't believe in god or that a single entity makes children for us, i think that your daughter is so great because you created her out of love and she is part of you.

Incredibly touching and tender Brian. Yes, through the eyes of a child we are always forgiven....it humbles us and makes us want to be better. Blessings to you and your daughter....may that loving bond always be there for you.

This is a beautiful poem for your daughter. It reveals what true unconditional love is all about.
