This is a 'get well' poem for those who, lke me, are suffering from a cold.

Colour Me Better

I'm sorry you've got a cold or even the flu,
And having to work with a nose of blue,
Seeing the world with eyes rimmed in red,
White-faced, you should be at home in bed;
I know it's hard to settle and even to think,
So I hope you'll soon be back in the pink,
Leaving behind the grey and shades much duller
For hues that are your normal, healthy colour!

This made me smile. I would enjoy getting a get-well card like this if I were sick. You are a clever poet Chris. : )
