The Girl, The Ball and The Question

There's a girl that i really like,
But she doesn't know,
I've tried to tell her,
But my confidence is low.

I'd like to be more than just friends,
But what can i say?
I think she's so great,
Need to find a way.

There's doubts in my head,
Does she even like me?
I want her so bad,
Just wished she could see.

Have i left it to late?
Are we too good friends?
Need to say something,
On me it all depends.

Now the Christmas Ball draws near,
Would love her to be my date,
God, she's so beautiful,
But is this my fate?

Well if you don't ask you will never know and the question will haunt you forever, if she declines and you are a friend then she will do it gracefully so not to hurt your feelings,go for it,faint heart ne'r won a fair lady, good luck and a great poem Neil.
