there has been bad poems since my last confession

your face

of cinder
of powder

WHAT what do you want

(she wants music , she wants jazz )

answering her _ YES MOTHER !_
yes I just ruined a tooth opening that fascist bottle

your full strength
now braided
brittle

my mother ? she is not available . she is resting yes . yes. I will give her your regards . no .

I have forgotten

the eggs

THE EGGS ! YES .

yes

I am the egg woman

my liquid organs on display

she can not feel the pain

it is not flesh coloured

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE

MOTHER

is melting

What type of clay was she again ?

(yes , I do this every hour . )

______ I return the word ______
______ sterile _______________

YES

the eggs

no splatter

as you like them

OH MY!!! The lunacy of it all! All too familiar to me.

Well done...I relate to and enjoy your work.

Hmm - what were you doing in confession? And what you been doing with those eggs? I wanna know what happened to the fluffy while elephant too !!??

Tending to eggs, or anything, without appreciation is worse than bad poetry between confessions. It wears one down to a painful nub and then beats the nub regularly, just to have something to amuse. This took me to that nub.

I know this!! I know the feelings, the brokenness, the words between the lines. I know them in my body's organs.

Daughters, I feel pain, then frustration, then anger, then pain in this visual text. I sense your burden of trying to please in a very unpleasant situation during your childhood...you never reach perfection in her eyes or perhaps in your own...always not good enough. I know I am filtering this through my own emotional state and may be way off base here. In any event, it is another profound piece that tugs on my heart. Loving you, Mother K
