how what hurts
so deeply
can be
neglected
and forgotten
and just degraded by a laughter
smile,
pretend
that you can't feel it
pretend
that it's not there
pretend
that you feel alive
as long as you're still breathing
I guess
it's easier to laugh
than to deal with what's real
easier to close your eyes
than to keep them wide open
Sometimes
numbness comes
after getting high
again, and again
Sometimes
it's just to fucking hard
to breath
to stay alive
to smile
to fight
even though it's worth it every second
