Dear Venus

I am a Virgo native,
Governed by Mercury,
Ruler of the intellect.

I know in details who you are,
I know about the delicate beings you rule,
And vaguely,
About the prettifying presence you have in them.

I have laid my eyes on one of your serene subjects,
Felt the immense Venusian energy she radiates,
And loved her unreservedly.

Dear Venus,
Teach me the ways of love,
Make of me a student of your arts,
And free me of my misery.

For I indeed love this divine Lady.
I loved her yesterday,
I love her today,
And will love her tomorrow.

I love her in my sleep when dreaming about her.
Watching her from a distance,
I love her with fear.

Prithee,
Teach me the ways of love,

And free me of my distress.

All you had to do was express it and your wish will be granted....love is all we need for sure. Pride is the first stumbling block and this poem steps over it so fabulously in my eyes.
