quiet love






so they close in on open doors
remembering words spoken
softly as the wind on a summers day

he a prince of her dreams
and she
the lover of his imagination

and in the night leaving now
I hear them speak
to stars
and heaven lights its sky
once more

again and again
when the quiet love is woven
soft and strong
