to imagine

and if I should let myself
slip out of reality
I would walk beside you

letting dreams
build castels in the waking of your day

I would sit closely at your feet
writing letters to your heart
incognito

and you would find
the love I feel
stitching needels in my heart

as reality is of another kind
than playful days
of my imagination

so I walk a lonely path
not knowing
where the turning point lies

closer to the edge
as seconds die
and love is an image

for me to imagine

There really cannot be any more beautiful words of longing than these

closer to the edge
as seconds die
and love is an image

for me to imagine

a perfect love a perfect description of the longing
