Give me a smile

Give me a smile for today,
give me a smile for tomorrow,
give me a smile for yesterday.
Give me a smile for the war,
give me a smile for the hate,
give me a smile for the homeless people,
who haven't eaten since least week.
Give me a smile,
a bright, big smile today,
so I can see
that it's still more
than just shit,
in this fucked up world.
