The End Of All Ends

At the end of all ends
will this be your defence?

The angels will know what you've done.
There's no mercy for what you've become.
Say your prayers, get down on your knees.
Maybe the end will bring you peace.

No friends left, they left in disgust.
No one left to be able to trust.
Kid yourself but you can't fool me.
I've seen the inside of thee.

You blame it on the bleeding fear.
But that is not the reason my dear.
We all have fears, and blood as well.
Despite all this we say farewell.

At the end of all ends
this will be your defence.
It's not enough, you're still alone.
Crying out your misery moan.

At the end of all ends
you won't have any defence.

I enjoyed this, especially the wit in lines 7-8 and stanza 4!
