When I was younger I was terribly afraid of the dark...... I caught an emotion here, remembering......

Darkness

When the storm is raging

outside

And the darkness

is closing in

Shrinking the walls

~have no place to hide~

It´s suffocating

Eating you up

from the inside

~Beyond rescuing~

Hearing a voice

from a distance

Leaving no other choice

but to listen

But it´s too far away

cannot hear what it´s

trying to say

Surrender to the weakness

Getting lost

in the jungle of loneliness

~Too late for salvation~

Kathy Lockhart
you have a way of saying so much with so little words. Absolutely amazing and chilling

Rob Graber
Very effective!

Note that lines 15 and 21 need "too," line 20, "jungle." :-,?
