JEALOUSY DOG

There's a dog black and bad,
that you wish you never had,
cause he always makes you sad,
but you're the one that drives him mad.

The dog will never rest at ease.
He spits and growls,
barks and howls,
and leaves you with no peace.

Foam at the mouth, oh what a mess.
Less is more and more is less.
Love lies bleeding, deceased.
Blame that dreadful beast.

Oh black dog, won't you leave me alone.
Please, chew on someone else's bone.
I'm tired now and I need to be set free.
It's the one and only thing I ask of thee.

We have a legend here about a black dog who roams the hills - a fairly common portent of bad luck I think in many places around the world. Enjoyed this - and of course jealousy is that black dog that pulls you down
