Oh.. this is a poem i wrote when i was really depressed. Things are all good now. This poem is however not a good example to others, so please take it as just some freaked out text.

The Final Race of Life

As I walk through the valley,
Of the dreadful path of life,
I look back and see my life,
Oh what pain,
Oh what sorrow,
For pain and sorrow,
There lies no words,
But only feelings,
Feeling that could kill,
All these can I not bare,
For there lies a path for each person,
That a part will he have to spend,
In sorrow and in pain,
For this is but an interval,
But for some,
It is a curse,
And there lies no cure,
For they live it for ever,
And happiness is just a break,
But there is but one and only one,
Way of lengthening this break,
For I shall not speak of it,
But I shall go ahead with it,
For when it's done,
Shall you know of it.

I can identify with these feelings... it does sometimes feel like it'll be forever... the way you wrote this poem conveys it well, I find...

Overall I think you expressed it clearly but this passage here is where it gets a bit muddy for me... I don't know... just my personal observations...

"But only feelings,
Feeling that could kill,
All these can I not bare,
For there lies a path for each person,
That a part will he have to spend,"

thanks for sharing :)
