arrows

so I look at the picture
forming arrows now
as the willow tree
listens hard

a tear falling
just beneath
happines passing by
and me waiting

steal in every second
thorns and relics
just a morning away
as I adjust the light

forming arrows now

It dawned on me to read "arrows" as "shafts" due to the expression "shaft of light" for light ray. Now I appreciate the poem even more!

You write "arrows", I read "sorrows"...

Always such a temptation:

"happiness passing by
and me waiting"

I'm missing your guiding metaphor though...
