All For Us

From long haired metal head
to mushroom-cut boys
they shimmy and slide past.

They "sing for us".

From the robes of white
to shiny black shoes,
"prophets" glide past.

They "preach for us"

From the "field uniform of wars"
to the uniformity of courage
they march smartly past.

They "die for us".

They erupt from bustling streets
we hate to love
and from the "wastelands"
we love to hate.

We shun artificially
We "love" completely
Lives devoted blithely
Not a second spent thinking,
to what.

To be is to be done - Mark.

It is not obvious to put salt into your tea, but it makes you sit up and take notice. Thanks.

Mark.
