The magnificent feeling 
That excitement called love 
Such a tender thing
Such a powerful emotion 
A heartfelt devotion
To the one that has your heart 
How its loss takes you apart 
And its succour takes you to heaven 
This precious thing 
A  foolish thing 
This meeting of two souls in awesome wonder 
The magnificent thing 
Much too precious
To be defined 
By such a simple word as
Love

true indeed - i believe i have a tanka with the same idea at its basis, "meanings". but in the end, this is just the beauty of it: to have to use such a short word in order to express an entire universe - love's expression is beyond words, beyond sounds, it is at a higher level to which it does not matter if the word is too short or if the distance is too big...lovely writing, Michael!
