Relief

She sat in the corner
In a creepy room
Just seeing it gives you shivers,
She sat there and cried.

Night fell
The stars are shining
She's feeling scared and alone
Shivers running up her spine

The floor
Full of blood
Her hands full of cuts
Full with scars

It's full
It's dripping
It's burning
It's... Relief

This poem speaks of a big problem that young people have in the world today, cutting may seem like a relief but it is not the answer, just a temporary fix. There is help out there and better ways of dealing with pain, we adults need to find a way of reasurring the younger generation and stop this epidemic from ruining countless lives. It wasn't a relief to read it, but it is a thought provoking poem. Take care, Tai
