Some people you just can't reach.

21st Century Edison

So sophisticated
You don't have feelings anymore
Or feel the wind
Caressing skin.

Have you heard it all before?
Your cynicism is more damaging
Than outright violence
You know better
Than me.

You've been there before
You can see the flaws
In everything
But can you see what's good?
Can you see God
In every word?
I can.

I can still see the sun
And I look for the moon at night
The second light
Not powered by electricity
After all
To me you are just
A dim bulb.
