Brrrrrr.

Winter

ice and snow
the pleasures of winter
nothing escapes it's grip
not even my heart
not even yours

I have fallen into the snow bank
of your anger
and struggle vainly
while the cold and wet
cover my head and body

you have slipped
on the ice
of my frustration
deep and slick
covering walkways and roads
can you make any headway
on this unyielding surface?

if you tread carefully
and I watch where I walk
maybe we can make it through
this winter
of ice and snow.

Hi Anne

Brrrrrr I know these feels
But sometimes you've just got to take a step back
and find the fun and the laughter again
we are all at times in a hall of mirrors
both right and wrong at the very same time
its understanding this Ying and yang?
Knowing that somewhere up there!
The gods that set us apart
Are having a very good laugh
At our expense! ;)
