Long ago two people on different continents began walking towards each other. They didnt know it but a mutual love existed between them

And how you have taken my heart 
How being away from you  tears me apart 
And how each time we meet this heart skips a beat 
Then in the soft light of dawn 
I want to reach out and touch you tenderly 
Do you realise how your gentle serenity has captured me 
And this love was meant to be  long ago 
When you and I began walking 
Unknowingly towards each other  
When we stood on distant shores looking out to the ocean 
Then we felt a soft breeze blowing 
And both  heard those longing words of one to the other 
If you hear me out there I love you
